Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Maintain and update accounting records and files

• Analyze and create expense reports

• Handle tax payments and returns

• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger

• Reconcile bank statements

• Analyze transactions with internal management

• Conduct month-end and year-end closures

• Prepare documents for audits

• Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone

• Report to the Plant Manager and work to improve financial processes

Important Individual Tasks:

• Responsible for all daily accounting tasks.

• Preparing documents and updating files.

• Perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger (NAV Entries).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to clients via email and handling invoices).

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Accounting diploma preferred

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft OUTLOOK, EXCEL and WORD

• Computer skills

• Above avearge math skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Personal Characteristics:

• Bi-Lingual is an asset (French and English)

• Must be flexible and adaptable team player

• Be able to preform under pressure

• Be able to communicate clearly

• Be able to handle conflicts
