Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Grind rejected pipes, startup material, cut offs from the Lab department

• Grind thirds material

• Grind clean out compound material

• Offloading raw material for regrind blends

• Loading and transferring blend compositions

• Screening blend material when needed

• Unload material from outside suppliers ie. Geston

• Cleaning pulverizer screens, magnets, oversized drums and bag house daily

• Fill out the paperwork correctly: MZE’s, hourly pulverizer checks, regrind weights, blend sheets and update the whiteboard daily

Important Individual Tasks:

• Complete any routine preventative maintenance tasks per the plant maintenance program. Any problems with equipment, beyond the expertise of the operator, should be reported immediately to the supervisor

• Departing the regrind room, inform the Shift Supervisor of the status (ie. Blending silo status regrind status)

• Use all Personal Protection Equipment and follow the required Health, Safety and Environmental procedures

• Assist in Extrusion and Mixing if needed

• Take responsible precautions for the safety within your area

• Be able to lift a minimum of 25 kgs.

• Must keep their assigned equipment and surrounding area clean.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Grade 12 diploma

• Techinal and mechinal skills

• Math skills required

Personal Characteristics:

• Must be flexible an adaptable team player.

• Independence, ability to work without close supervision

• Be able to preform under pressure

• Must be able to communicate clearly
